QR Sense Privacy Policy

QR Sense Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 22, 2026

QR Sense is a mobile application by Secret App. This Privacy Policy explains

how QR Sense handles information when you use the app.

Summary

QR Sense is designed to work primarily on your device.

• QR Sense does not require you to create an account.

• QR Sense does not provide cloud sync for your saved data.

• QR Sense does not sell personal data.

• Scan history, generated QR codes, favorites, folders, and settings are stored

locally on your device.

• WiFi passwords are not stored in History or Favorites.

Information Handled by QR Sense

Depending on how you use the app, QR Sense may handle the following categories

of information on your device:

• QR code content that you scan with your camera or import from an image

• QR code content that you create in the app

• App data you choose to save locally, such as History, Favorites, folders, and

settings

• Device authentication status used for the optional app lock feature

QR Sense is designed to work primarily on your device. In addition, limited

diagnostic, advertising, and analytics-related data may be collected by

third-party services used by the app, as described below.

Camera Permission

QR Sense requests camera access so you can scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera

access is used only for scanning and is not used for unrelated purposes.

If you do not grant camera permission, you can still use parts of the app that

do not require camera access, such as generating QR codes and viewing saved

items.

Photos, Gallery, and Saved Images

QR Sense can save generated QR images to your photo library or gallery when you

choose "Save PNG."

QR Sense requests photo library or gallery access only when needed for a

feature you choose, such as importing an image to scan or saving a generated QR

image.

QR Sense does not read, scan, upload, or sync your existing photo library for

background profiling or unrelated purposes.

If you use scan-from-gallery features, image processing is performed only to

read the code from the image you selected.

On supported Android versions, exported images may be saved using platform media

APIs. On older Android versions, storage permission may be requested only when

needed to save an image.

Sharing

QR Sense can share generated QR images or content only when you choose a Share

action. Shared data is sent to the destination you select using your device's

system sharing tools.

Local Storage

QR Sense stores the following information locally on your device:

• Scan history

• Generated QR codes

• Favorites

• Folders

• App settings

Local app data is stored using encrypted on-device storage. Encryption keys are

kept on the device using platform-provided secure storage where available.

History and Favorites remain on the device until you delete them in the app or

remove the app, subject to any retention settings you choose inside the app.

Optional Device Authentication

QR Sense includes an optional app lock feature that can require device

authentication, such as biometrics or your device passcode, before allowing

access to protected content.

QR Sense does not receive your biometric data. Authentication is handled by your

device's operating system and related platform services.

WiFi QR Codes

If you scan or create a WiFi QR code, QR Sense is designed not to store the

WiFi password in History or Favorites.

Saved WiFi items retain only the information needed for the feature, such as:

• QR type

• network name

• security type

• sanitized QR content without the WiFi password

Advertising

QR Sense uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display ads.

Google and its partners may collect or receive information such as:

• IP address

• device and advertising identifiers

• app interactions

• ad interactions

• diagnostic information

• approximate location or other information derived by Google's services, where

applicable under their policies and your device settings

This data may be used for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security,

and service reliability.

On iOS, QR Sense may also request permission to use the system advertising

identifier for advertising and measurement purposes, depending on your region,

device settings, app configuration, and the consent or privacy choices made

available to you.

For more information about how Google handles data, review Google's policies:

Advertising behavior may also depend on your region, device settings, Google

settings, and any consent or privacy choices made available to you.

Analytics

QR Sense includes support for Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics is not

active in every build. It is enabled only in production builds that are

configured for analytics.

When enabled, analytics events may include information such as:

• app opens

• app sessions

• screen views

• feature usage

• first completed action

• certain device permission states

• completed scans

• generated QR codes

• ad impressions and ad clicks

QR Sense is designed not to send the following values as Firebase Analytics

event parameters:

• QR contents

• scanned text

• URLs

• phone numbers

• contact details

• WiFi passwords

• WiFi SSIDs

Analytics data is processed by Google under Firebase and Google policies. For

more information, see:

No Account and No Cloud Sync

QR Sense does not require user accounts and does not provide cloud-based account

storage or sync for your saved History, Favorites, folders, or generated QR

codes.

Data Sharing

QR Sense does not sell personal data.

QR Sense may share limited information with service providers only as needed to

operate third-party services used by the app, such as advertising and analytics

providers described in this policy.

Data Retention

Locally stored data remains on your device until:

• you delete it in the app

• your chosen retention settings remove eligible items

• you uninstall the app

Data handled by third-party providers such as Google AdMob or Firebase may be

retained according to their own policies.

Your Choices

Depending on your device, region, and app version, you may be able to:

• deny camera permission

• deny photo library access

• decline notification permission, where applicable

• review or change ad privacy choices presented in the app, where available

• manage advertising or privacy settings on your device

• review or change tracking-related permissions on your device, where supported

• enable or disable the optional app lock

• delete History, Favorites, generated QR codes, or other saved items inside

the app

their personal data. If you believe a child provided information in a way that

creates a privacy issue, contact us using the details below.

International Users

Depending on where you use QR Sense, your information may be processed by

third-party providers in countries other than your own, subject to those

providers' terms, safeguards, and policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material

changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional

notice where required.
